I've been using Linux RedHat on my laptop since the beginning of the year, and it is great. I have just about everything working except the WIFI. Does anyone know how to get the WIFI working on a Linux laptop? It would be great if I can get the laptop to work with wireless Internet access.
Look for a Windows xp/2000 inf file from the internet for your wifi card. then use the ndiswrapper -i <driver>
and then run modprobe ndiswrapper from superuser and it should show up. thoes simple steps got my WPC11 v4 linksys card that no one can get working to run perfectly fine.
