Getting to /dev/hdb in CFDISK

I am trying to get Slack to install on my 2nd HD. When I go to CFDISK, it says /dev/hda on the top. I want the 2nd one (/dev/hdb). How do I get to it?

Also, I am splitting my 40 gig HD into two halves, one for Linux and one for FAT32 so I can share. How big should I make the SWAP Partition?

As a general rule of thumb, swap = 2x RAM
But with the obscene values of RAM nowadays, this si outdated, so this si how I do it:
128-256 RAM, 512 swap
257-768 RAM, 256 SWAP
769 and greater RAM, 128 swap
