Question G3 iBook

I've got a G3 iBook 900 with 384 Megs of RAM. I've currently got FC5 on it, but it seems a little sluggish... I know, I know... iBook G3, 'nuff said, right? Heh. Any ideas on a better distribution for this semi-old laptop? I don't really care for yellowdog of any kind, so anything else. I'm also not well-versed in linux, so anything that requires a lot of in-depth configuring is probably out. I'm just looking for something with a little more pep than OSX. I like linux and FC5 IS faster than OSX. I was just wanting to know if anyone had some better suggestions. I had looked at Suse 10.1, but it recommends at least 256 Megs of RAM so I kinda figured that was an out. Thanks for any suggestions!

Ubuntu may be a good solution. It doesn't eat up too much memory, but it's easy to use and very stable.
