Fujitsu E8020 - Disk Failure (SATA)

Hi
I have got a Fujitsu-Siemens E8020 laptop (with SATA disk) and I am trying to install Debian.
In the step in which the installation examines the disk, I have in the monitor the failure error:

-------------------------------------------------------------------
!! Partition disks
-------------------------------------------------------------------
No partitionable media

No partitionable media were found.
Please check that a hard disk is attached to this machine
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for any help....

I odn't know about debian, but Rehhat/fedora also has a soimilar issue

for that you have to type linux wibble and press enter then type linux and it boots fine

Disclaimer

wibble is not the only word you can type, you can type any word after the linux, but i don't think there is a linux command called wibble which linux could get confused with..
