Angry hotplug manager makes Knoppix boot hang

As the post says, the floppy drives makes my knoppix boot hang, I'm doing this on a hp pavilion ze5300 notebook, and there is no way to disable the floppy in the bios. I think it is the floppy because when I do a failsafe boot, it boots up no problem. Also the floppy light turns on and that is when it just hangs. Is there any way to not boot the floppy from knoppix, or can I even load the wireless card after the failsafe boot???

***Never mind, it isn't the floppy, for the floppy still works in failsafe. I tried it again and its the hotplug manager. Any way to bypass while still loading everything else???***
