fix backspace key?

First I'll ask: Is the backspace key supposed to take you back one window like it does in windows? Mine doesn't and I'd like to fix it, so how would I do that?

Also, the touchpad causes it to jump back one or two windows every now and then when I'm moving the cursor, what's up with that?

I'm running a new install, Mandrake 10.1 on a Dell Inspiron 5100 and using KDE.

Thanks,

Jim

You mean in a browser?
This is something that has to do with the scecific program.
In firefox this works. In konqueror only Alt + <- (thats the left arrow) works. At least for me
