first step towards working sound ibm t21
 

Hey guys, i've never set up a sound card in linux before. I have an IBM T21 with slackware 10.0 installed on it. What is the first step i take into setting up sound to work with it? Thank you!

i tried doing some reasearch and still no luck with sound

i ran alsaconf, and still get nothing

anyone know what i can try??

Okay i believe strongly in posting your solution if you found it:

i followed the instructions for loading that driver (our soundcard), and it worked perfectly, just download the drivers, the utils, and lib, and configure each, and its all good now!
