Fedora 14 full install onto USB Hard Drive
I am currently using Ubuntu 10.10 on a Lenovo Thinkpad, without much issue. I have Linux installed onto an external, 40gig hard drive. When I installed it, it was quite simple; run through the normal install process, pointed it at the proper /dev/sda(n) and away we went.
I remember trying this with Fedora 10 or 11 and ending up with an unusable system. Without using a 'Live' environment, can I simply run through the normal install and dump Fedora 14 onto the USB HDD?
I am unable to use the internal HDD due to various reasons.
