Hello..
2 days ago i have tried to install fedora 11 ...but after i did achieved installation successfully ...and rebooted system ,the device hasn't booted from hard disk ,alternatively it has booted from the network (Broadcom)- the third booting choice in bios - .
i have tried three different DVDs ....but no thing changes ...!
really i need your help ...!
thanx....
Have you installed fedora 11 to your HDD, or are you having trouble booting from the DVD in order to install it?
I'm guessing that english is not your first language: just take it slow and one step at a time.
You downloaded the f11 DVD image
You burned the image to a DVD
You set your BIOS to boot from the DVD drive
You put the DVD in the drive
You boot from the DVD
You install f11 to your DVD
You remove the DVD
You reboot
You set the bion to boot from HDD
Continue boot
Thank you ..Simon ..and i am sorry...
yes that is exactly what happened ,but then the laptop didn't booted from HDD ,alternatively it booted from the network ..and asked me to plug in the network cable ..and of course the booting failed ..
Today morning i tried to install fedora 11 as ext3 but i faced the same problem ..!
Thank you again ..and i am waiting for your reply..!
