error : unknown filesystem. gurb rescue> (Win8/Ubuntu 13.04)

Hey guys

this is my first post, hope I make myself clear enough for you guys to help

I got a new laptop Dell Inspiron 15R 3521 which comes with windows8 built in.

I managed to install and use Ubuntu 13.04 for my academic work, by disabling UEFI secure boot feature every time I have to login to Ubuntu.

It has been working well for a few weeks now.

Now am not able to boot in to Ubuntu. it just shows a black screen with this message on it.

Error : unknown filesystem.
grub rescue>

grub rescue> ls
is giving me a list of drives and partitions.
but ls (drive, partition)/
sn't opening any directories of Ubuntu.
Win8 s working perfectly fine.

Kindly let me know what more details you guys require to help as I am totally new to Linux environment.

Kinda urgent guys (stuck in the middle of my internship)
Thanks in advance guys.

Go to the site below and read the directions for using the bootinfoscript, download and run it and post the output, a results.txt file. You will need to do this from Linux, the Ubuntu CD/Flash drive you used to install should work. This will provide detailed information which should help someone to help you. Also, indicate any changes you made to Ubuntu, if any:
