Does CoreBoot support CLEVO/KAPOK boards?

System76's Lemur UltraThin (LemU2) has a very lame Phoenix Tech proprietary BIOS on it. It doesn't support Wake-on-LAN (WOL) nor does the BIOS menu have a power management section. An old version of the BIOS wouldn't even throttle the CPU fan! ∴, I'd like to update my BIOS to the open BIOS called CoreBoot.

CoreBoot's build instructions require knowing the Mainboard vendor and the Mainboard model. I know my LemU2 has an Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU U 330 @ 1.20GHz CPU and an Intel Corporation 82801 Mobile PCI Bridge, which this page says CoreBoot v4 supports. However, when I run make menuconfig for CoreBoot, there is no option for "CLEVO/KAPOK Computer Device 3100". Does CoreBoot not support CLEVO/KAPOK boards?

Thanks

I played with the different types of open bios or replacement bios's a very long time ago. It might be better to ask this on their forums. The folks here may know parts of linux and hardware. The folks over at those forums may know more than we do.

Unless you get some exact report of some version running on your exact board revision, you run the risk of borking the entire deal. I'd be sure you have a way to re-flash the chip in case this fails.

You may have to fly blind on this project unless you get some good web pages for support. Let us know if you get this working. Those bios replacements have just not found favor for the masses, dunno why either.
