Does anyone know about GNU+Linux on the HP Pavillion dv7-1130us???
My wife recently purchased an HP Pavillion dv7-1130us laptop.
The thing is currently infested with the Microsoft Vista virus and we want to install Debian GNU+Linux on the thing. After looking for approximately 2+ hours on Google, I have been unable to find anyone mention of GNU+Linux compatibility with the HP Pavillion dv7-1130us.
I've checked all the Linux hardware compatibility lists of which I am aware, and have come up with nothing.
Does anyone have any idea if GNU+Linux will install successfully on this thing?
We'd hate to start an install, wipe out the Vista virus, and then have an expensive brick on our hands.
