Distro Compatability Question

Hi,

I'm running a Dell laptop thats using an internal Dell Wireless 1370 WLAN Card.

Is there a disto out there that will automatically configure this wireless card, or will work without a great deal of configuration. I've read a lot about problems using wireless and Fedora Core, but if there are other distro's out there that work easier than can someone please reccommend them.

Thanks,
Daniel.

Can you run "lspci -v" to determine the controller used for the card?
Use that information on the HCL here. If it is a broadcom device, then you will probably need to use ndiswrapper. A good place to start would be the ndiswrapper wiki. They have a HCL which includes URLs to the windows drivers that work best with ndiswrapper. This site's wiki also includes instructions on installing and using ndiswrapper.

ndiswrapper is pretty easy to set up in just about any distro.
