Display corrupt when resuming Fedora 7

When I resume my laptop from suspend, the display is corrupt, as in the attatched image. I've tried applying the quirks from http://people.freedesktop.org/~hughs...end-debug.html but their effect ranges from none to more broken (no display, no keyboard, etc.).

If I log out via keyboard shortcuts, the display returns to normal after X restarts. How can I fix this so that I can resume properly without restarting X?

Have you installed '915resolution'?

Best,

I have not, as I thought the newer version of X meant I didn't need it anymore (Fedora automatically configures my display resolution now, which previously required 915resolution).
