Dell Latitude D600 can not read dvd+r ??
I have some training material I have been meaning to watch on my D600 laptop. I put the DVD+R in and the laptop cannot seem to see it. The drive in the laptop is a DVD/CDR/RW that reads regular DVD's just fine.
The DVD+R in question works just fine on my desktop running SuSE 9.2 and works in my cheap @home dvd player too. Is this a limitation of the drive or a problem I am having with firmware or my distro (Mandrake 10.1) TIA Mandra |
You may not have the dvd libraries installed. These are their names on my Debian box:
libdvdcss2 libdvdnav1 libdvdnav4 libdvdread2 libdvdread3 |
