hey, i have a dell inspiron 1100 and downloaded the drivers and tried to run the install.sh file. it worked fine but said that i had to shutodnw x server so i could install without rebooting. but it also said that i could install and then reboot without stoppign x server. so i did this and all the installation failed. can anyone tell me howe to shutdown x server whilst being able to run the install.sh file from the command line.
