Dell Inspirion 5150 + Fedora Core 2 + True Mobile 1350

Hello, I am having some serious problems with my wireless LAN. I use a Dell True Mobile 2300 router, a Dell True Mobile 1350 wireless PCI card and a Dell Inspirion, PIV 2.8 GH Mobile Processor with 512MB RAM and a GeForce Go 5200 card.

The following inputs generate this commands:

IWCONFIG:

Quote:

PCI: Enabling device 0000:02:04.0 (0000 -> 0002)
Furthermore, the WLAN device shows up in the Network tool under the tab System Settings and has clearly picked up the MAC of the access point. I have enabled the WLAN0 in the System Settings / Security to pass by the firewall as the eth0 device.

I completely lost it. I did everything I read on all forums and it should be working if you look at the command outputs, but still, starting my browser gets me a "HOST UNRESOLVED" error and nothing happens. Also the LED on my True Mobile 2300 wireless station does not blink, indicating there is no traffic between it and my laptop.

What am I doing wrong?

On a side note, which brands / wireless PCI/PCMIA adapters are 100% Linux compatible out of the box for SuSe/Mandrake/Fedora?

I am desperate enough to buy a new wireless card for this shit.
