Dell D520 Issues
 

Hey, anyone running Gentoo (no genkernel configured) on a Dell Latitude D520. I have some problems on it (kernel 2.6.23-r8) with my keyboard. Some of the function keys (like the eject key and the key for switching to projector display) do not work. These key events are not even recognized by xev, and neither does showkey show them as key events.
If anybody who has similar issues could help me, it would be really great.

I have the same problems as you describe, although on a Latitude 110L. I managed to get most of the other function keys to work, using lineak, but the external display key still doesn't do anything. When I ran ubuntu 7.04 about half a year ago, it worked, so there must be some way to fix it.
I am afraid I can't be of much more help though, but if you find a solution, please post it here.
