[SOLVED] Dell Creative Technology Webcam not working in Linux Mint 9

I have Linux Mint 9 installed on a Dell Studio 1536 Laptop (AMD 64, 4G Ram) Everything works,Wireless,Touchpad,HDMI Out,Sound Mutimedia Buttons all worked out of the box with Mint 9 Installed from the Main DVD, however i cannot get the webcam to work Camorama, gives me (Error-could not connect to video device(/dev/video 0) please check connection) Thanks for any help. If i don't get it working its still no deal breaker I will still use linux, also have ubuntu 10.04 on a desktop.

Did you check and see if "cheese" is installed. I've had the problem before and installed cheese and my webcam worked fine. It was on a Compaq Multimedia,dual core, 4gigs RAM. I have never worked with Dell. Hope this helped.
