Unhappy D-Link wireless down

Hello,

I have a DI-614+ wireless broadband router) and I am trying to set up a linux server. So I connected my linux server through a regular ethernet plug of the router and I have set up the server. But now, as soon as I turn on the server my laptop which is using the wireless connection loose the connection. And I have to turn off the server, reboot the router and my laptop to be able to see the wireless network...
What did I do wrong ?

Thanks,

Olivier

Whew... okay, so the router is connected to world, cable modem, dsl, whatever, and the server is one machine on the network and the wireless laptop is a different machine on the network?

or,

Is the server connected to the world, through one nic and the wireless router is connected to the server through another nic?

Kinda wondering about the network structure here.

Cheers,

Finegan

Heu well, the first description was the good one. But actually, I upgraded the firmware of the D-link and it seems to be working now...

Thanks a lot,

Olivier
