Current Evolution Plugin for Multisync?

So I have embarked upon syncing my Pocket PC device (Siemens SX56/O2 XDA/HTC Wallaby, whatever you want to call it) with Linux.

My first attempt is with Evolution. I have got the Synce part going. I can sync with the pda, create a partnership, and Multisync has the synce plugin ready. Hooray for me.

Now for the Evolution plugin for Multisync, it appears that it has dependencies provided by older versions of Evolution. The Evolution I have, version 2.2.3, does not provide the libraries needed by the Evolution plugin for Multisync that I have. In other words, the only Evolution plugin for Multisync available to me requires files provdied by a much older version of Evolution.

So do I start looking at other PIM apps, like the KDE stuff? Or is there something else I can do?

Thanks in advance,

Peter
