Configuring Wireless Card
Hey, I just recently got a wireless card for my laptop and I'm having some trouble configuring it. It is a Microsoft Wireless Adapter MN-520 (sadly) and I'm loading it on a Fedora 5 system. First time I shut down the system, put the card in, then fired it back up. The lights come on the card but it just freezes at "Starting udev..." and will not go anywhere else.
I searched through the forums and saw where I could edit the config.odts in etc/pcmcia/
I added the lines it told me to add, however I did NOT see anything about a "#wireless adapter" to add it under so I addded one myself. Then I changed it according to another site. Still no luck, and it freezes everytime I boot with the card in.
If you have any suggestions to this problem please let me know. Also if you could recommend to me a good wireless adapter for Linux that would also be great. I don't know if my systems has anything to do with it. My laptop is an HP pavilion ze4400 .
Thanks everyone,
-Mal
