Compaq Presario 900 US Model
 
Fedora Core 3 installs perfectly on a Compaq Presario 900 US model. Everything works fine, including the calls to ACPI, shutdown ect.

If anyone has one of these models and needs a few tips I will try to help out.

rather than create a post that really doesn't do much, try creating an HCL entry with the lspci and any tips or tricks used on that machine. The first place people should look about hardware questions is the HCL, but we need everyone to populate with both Old and New hardware. Your laptop doesn't appear in the HCL yet, so head on over and fill in the info over there.

Presario 915 rsh Installing Fedora Core 5 ACPI trouble
 
It is stopping the fan on boot. I tried disabling the ACPI and this did not work either. Any suggestions?
