CDROM drive not found during mandrake setup

Hello all,
I have an HP zv6000 and I'm trying to setup mandrake 10.1, 32 bit. Upon autoboot from the disk 1, the setup says CD ROM drive not found. Has anyone else faced this problem. I have a CD/DVD burner with DL capabilities. I don't think this should make a difference but I'm not a very experienced user.

Any help on this?

Thanks,

You probably need to create a modules floppy and load the modules for your CD-ROM drive — follow the instructions on the CD-ROM.

Alternatively, you can probably save the CD's contents to a network drive and install over a network; again, follow the instructions on the CD.

Got it working, the CDs need to be finalized while burning them.
