Can't Boot Damn Small Linux on Laptop: Error 15, no CD Drive available
I bought a adapter to convert laptop hard drives to a USB device so that I could install Damn Small Linux on the disk on an old laptop without a CD Drive. Unfortunately, Damn Small Linux doesn't have an install option for this kind of situation. I thought that at worst I would have to edit a GRUB script after it installs. One problem I may be having is the name of the hard disk. Should it be hda, sda, or something else?
Also, at the GRUB screen, I get error 15. This is the file not found error from what I can tell. Can it not find the scripts it needs to read, or can it not find the kernel?
Here are the more important specifications of the old laptop:
Pentium II 300 MHz
64 MB RAM
Standard 2.5 inch 2 GB Hard Drive
Internal Floppy Drive
NO Optical Drive at all
