Question can we load linux to laptop


hai

can we load linux to any laptop, do we need any special version or somthing other than like differend command to load, is it the same way like we do in desktop. ?

pls help me out

Most everything should be supported. Typically a laptop's modem isn't supported since they are "win-modems". You can always check the HCL here to find out if it is supported, or download and burn a Live-CD version to verify that you laptop's hardware is supported before you delete windows.
