Hi

I got an old HP Omnibook 2100 here, and I wanted to try out the SLAX Live-CD. A friend built it with only the command prompt and LPT support (since thats all I need). It works fine on a desktop PC, but not on my Laptop.
It always hangs when it comes too "starting USB support..."
I already put the parameter "nousb" into the isolinux.cfg file, but still no luck.
I should mention that this is the first time I´m trying to use Linux.
Is there any way I can skip/remove the USB part from my SLAX Life-CD (I made an ISO of it) under Windows ?

Ok, I now also tried to edit the liblinuxlive file inside the directory: "/slax/rootcopy/usr/lib" because I saw that this script is triggering the action. So I completely removed the USB part, and burned the image again. But it still comes to that point ??? Is that scriptfile also stored somewhere else ?
