Can't enable touch-pad and usb-mouse at the same time...

Hi!
I installed Red Hat 9 Pro on my German laptop (Gericom) a few days ago. Almost everything is running great up until now, except that I just can't figure out how to activate the input of my usb-mouse and my laptop touch-pad at the same time. I am always forced to change it over the mouse configuration and then reboot, which gets kinda annoying after a while. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this prob.????
Thanks in advance!!!

Did you take a look into your BIOS, see what device is en/disabled?
I run RH9 on an IBM R40 laptop and it detected and configured the trackball and touchpad (I could use either one of them) and when I plugged a USB keyboard and a USB mouse kudzu detected them and configured them too, without changing anything else, so I can use trackball, touchpad, USB keyboard and mouse simultaneously.

All I had to do was add my USB mouse into XF86config for it to work. My touch pad was configured by default so I just added another device section. I used #cat /dev/mouse and cat /dev/input/mice to figure out which device was which :)
