Boot slackware using usb hdd

I have netbook where not DVD driver, but i have external hdd. I want
to transfer iso image to external hdd a use this hdd to start
instalation. I use this command

Code:
/home/petr/Iso# dd iff=ubuntu-11.10-desktop-i386.iso of=/dev/sdb

1423960+0 records in

1423960+0 records out

729067520 bytes (729 MB) copied, 104,554 s, 7,0 MB/s

and all working OK. But i want to use Slackware. This time, this
procedure did not work. I was looking for the cause. I learned that
Ubuntu iso image is burned along with MBR and Slackware iso not.

I know that image can be created using GRUB. But i am using Lilo. I
know that exist this procedure.

But this procedure is good for small media. Bud i have sufficient capacity for setup and sotware and do not have it in the external directory, which later join trough Samba

Thanks you

Petr

Get the usbimg2disk.sh, and read the README_USB.TXT, from here:
