bluetooth troubles on HP ProBook 6560b
Hi
Recently I have bought an HP ProBook 6560b, and have installed Ubuntu 11.10 64 bit, without any problems, except one :
BlueTooth does not work !
It is detected at startup :
Code:
dmesg | grep -i bluetooth
[ 5.582626] Bluetooth: Core ver 2.16
[ 5.582647] Bluetooth: HCI device and connection manager initialized
[ 5.582650] Bluetooth: HCI socket layer initialized
[ 5.582651] Bluetooth: L2CAP socket layer initialized
[ 5.583048] Bluetooth: SCO socket layer initialized
[ 5.584337] Bluetooth: RFCOMM TTY layer initialized
[ 5.584342] Bluetooth: RFCOMM socket layer initialized
[ 5.584344] Bluetooth: RFCOMM ver 1.11
[ 5.584548] Bluetooth: BNEP (Ethernet Emulation) ver 1.3
[ 5.584551] Bluetooth: BNEP filters: protocol multicast
I have the bluetooth icon in the status bar, and bluetooth is on, but I cannot add any devices, none is detected, even though the laptop is seen by other computers !
If I add the laptop as a device to one of the other computers, I do get a pincode to enter on the other computer, but when I afterwards try to browse or send files to the laptop, the connection times out, and the bluetooth icon disappears from the status bar on the laptop !
Any ideas ?
Thanks, Kim
