Best Laptop for Ubuntu/Compiz?

I'm looking to buy a new laptop, but one that will be able to handle Compiz/Beryl. What experiences have people encountered? What laptop would you recommend?

Thanks

AFAIK, nvidia graphics cards are better supported in linux than ATI cards. I thought that as long as the graphics card work, Compiz/Beryl will. Other than that (if you care), I'd pick a laptop that has good wireless card support in Linux.

Best linux supported laptops and with good support for Compiz/Beryl will be laptops w/ Nvidia cards and that aren't proprietary hell like Sony. Your best bet will probably be with Lenovo/IBM, Dell, Acer, and maybe HP. I have great success with my Dell e1505. Dells are known to work pretty well with Linux as are IBM/Lenovo's.
