Best laptop for linux admin

Hi all,

I'm working as a linux a linux admin, I want to buy a laptop I think lenovo e430 with i3 2nd gen 4GB. Mostly work vis putty vmware vsphere and lot of remote and vnc desktops. I can go for i5 3rd gen also but it costs me more 80-100 $ more, My budget is little tight to go for it. my doubt is I have to sell my desktop to buy a lap, I have to run kvm or vmware work station for practice at home, will i3 can serve my purpose, I'm not expecting it to rock but medium perforce for all my needs, or I borrow from friend to go for i5, I have desktop in office also. Please help me, dont suggest me i5 unless i3 is almost waste and huge difference, my budget ha ha ha.
My budget is below 600$, any suggestions, laptop should be good and little robust with dos, I don't care how it looks, durability and battery.

Thanks for ur time.
