Most decent laptops can last a very long time suspended. I have an old PIII Dell that has been known to be suspended for a week and still have battery to spare, but it has nearly 8000mAh of combined battery capacity.
It is a broad question though, not all laptops have the same capacity batteries, not all use the same amount of power suspended.
The best thing you can do, besides trying it yourself, is to search for what people with a similar model of laptop are getting.
