ive since installed fedora kde and now fedora gnome and im getting the same problems.

once i connect the power supply the battery indicator appears in the taskbar but if i reboot with the power supply disconnected the icon dissapears again

is there a way i can get the battery indicator to remain in the taskbar all the time? in the past years ive never had this issue with linux
