Battery - continuously display time and % remaining

Hello,

I am running SuSE 10.1 on an AMD64 laptop.

I have Kpowersave installed and running, but it only displays a graphical representation of battery charge in the system tray.

Is there any graphical application that will display the time remaining and percent of charge on screen, always? Either in the tray or in a small window that stays on top?

With the 64-bit processor in a custom laptop, the power drain is amazing (run time from 100% charge is usually between 1.5-2 hours), and I really need to be able to keep track of *precise* power levels while using it.

Since saying you are using Kpowersave I assume you are using KDE. If so check out this one for kxdocker called gbattery. http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=12983

I'd recommend using gkrellm It's got a graphical and percentage display of the remaining batter time, plus a variety of other useful monitoring tools.
