ASUS K51AE and Ubuntu 10.04; issue with alsa setup; no front mic
hello,
I am already in the www.ubuntuusers.de for solving the issue. http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/la...ioniert-nicht/
For the reason I dont have any progress, I post here in this forum.
Question: has somebody a K51AE with ubuntu 10.04 where the front mic is working with alsa? (example with "arecord").
If this is the case, can I please receive here a full description of the alsa setups?
It already worked on this K51AE but for any reason it dont work anymore.

Ubuntu the best? Don't know.
But you're the best. Thanks.
After your post, I just had to adapt the tone and volume controller in my laptop.. and now.. see..
I can listen my beautiful mature voice in that laptop..;-)
