asus eeepc webcam not working on vm'ed XP


It is running ubuntu 9(the latest edition of 9) and everything is working through the vm and on linux ubuntu.

sorry for the incoherentness, i was typing on the netbook itself. It is an asus eeepc running linux ubuntu 9.X and running XP through a virtual box vm. The webcam installed into the pc is recognized in ubuntu and is functioning and is also recognized under xp but is not functioning. I have tried updating the drivers in XP but to no avail
