Aspire One Linpus - "send to" option in Firefox

Hello to you all, I am a new member and this is my first post.

Would appreciate any help please.
I have an Acer Aspire One Linpus Lite netbook. I have successfully upgraded Firefox to version 3.5 but now the "send to" email link in Firefox, to forward links by email, does not bring up the Aspire One Mail email client that it previously did before the Firefox upgrade.

Looking at the preferences in Firefox the only email options that can be set are - evolution (which does nothing) - Googlemail - Yahoo mail.

I have been trying to get the "send to" option in Firefox to open up Aspire One Mail which is otherwise working ok on the netbook. Have spent evenings trying to locate the One Mail program on the netbook in order to direct Firefox to it but with no luck, have found the AME folder but cant seem to get One Mail to open up with the "send to" option in Firefox.

Help please

Many thanks

Welcome to Linux Questions!!

In Firefox when you go to the options and then click on programs you need to set mailto to the correct email program. Based on your post it sounds like you found this option already. Select use other and then select the correct mail program. From what I can find the email program that Linpus uses is Thunderbird.

I have that machine in Linux and it does not come with any Mozilla apps installed, not here anyway. Had to install both the Fox and the Bird.
