APM kernel

I'm trying to find a recent kernel compiled with APM support.

I have an older laptop with only 2 gigs alotted to my Slackware 10.2 installation so I don't have enough space for the source code.

I keep trying the search engines, but all I come up with is older kernels. Please help.

Doesn't the 2.6.13 kernel available as a Slackware package include APM? If not, I am surprised. You can check it out at slackware.at for example.

Failing that, the only thing I can think of is to compile the kernel on a different computer and transfer it over. That wouldn't be much fun though (depending on your idea of fun...). I find compiling a kernel for the computer it's being compiled on hard enough!
