Any known porblems installing linux (Fedora) on a HP Pavillion ze5385
I have a HP Pavillion ze5385 and i wanted to know if there are any known problems with installing linux on my laptop before i start messing with partitions and my MBR

All flavors of RedHat past 7.3 installed ok on my ze4230. I would think you would be ok. If anything goes wrong it is likely to be ACPI related, or related to the crappy modems they put in these HP laptops. Are you looking to dual-boot? As long as you make your selections carefully during install there is little chance of harm to your Windows partitions.
