Any general hardware advice?
 

Hi,

I have recently decided to crossover from the dark side (ie Windows) and switch to Linux. I am planning to purchase a laptop and devote it to Linux(probably SUSE 10). I was under the impression that there are often many complications involved with installing Linux on laptops and would just like some general advice about possible hardware issues. The specific model I'm considering doesn't show up on TuxMobil.

Any advice is appreciated.

well i was just browsing the linux links section n there was one that had a link on installing linux on a laptop,it could be of some help.sorry i cant remember what page it was on.also under the lg wiki under installation might help.
