hi rx_b10,

I guess, fedora automagically detected your wifi and sound card. The next big thing would be to get the driver for your nvidia graphics card. To get the driver, head on to
http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html

Click on the link for Latest Version: 173.14.09

If your face any problems with the inbuilt wi-fi, you can go to intel site(http://www.intel.com/support/wireles.../cs-010623.htm) to get the wireless driver.

Usually Dell 1420 has the Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN(scroll down to see that)

I guess most of the other things are discovered and configured by default. If you still face problems, please do come back here and post your problem with a detailed description.

Happy linuxing,

with regards
Justin
