Lightbulb ACPI suspend/standby "not supported" according to KLaptop

I'm running KDE under Slackware 10 (2.4.26 with ACPI enabled in the kernel) on a Dell Inspiron 1000. After rebuilding the kernel with ACPI support, the KLaptop battery icon appeared on my taskbar and tells me the amount of charge left on my battery and whether or not it is charging. The power button on the laptop turns the computer off and the shutdown command also turns the power off. The fan turns itself on and off.

However, when I select "Configure KLaptop", it says that ACPI suspend/stanby is not supported. How can I enable this?

Thanks,

Brian
