acpi setting for toshiba qosmio

Hi,

I have a toshiba qosmio f10 - canadian model- I have changed power settings before to make my error go away. , but on occasion it would cause error.

The biggest problem is, I believe, is suspended to disk. The box will not function after you reopen the lid. Also it has problems coming out of the screen saver, or stand by.

How can I set this so it works all the time?

I also have things such as cputweak, and powertweak. When the kde environment is up, I go and right click on the pluggedin icon in the tray, and it lets me set the centrino to performance instead of dynamic, which I do not want, well at least not most of the time. It would be great if I could get a screen that asks me when I login what I would like.

Anyway, how do I set it to performance always? Sometimes it is only 600 mhz instead of 1800 mhz, and it was not unplugged or drained down in the slightest. Whats with that.
