Hi! I'm having some problems booting Zenwalk 4.8. During the boot, I get this wonderful hangup:

I'm running a laptop and I usually don't have problems using acpi on debian based distros... But for some reason, Slackware based distros hate my computer.

Now, what I'd usually do is use acpi=off to boot my computer, but it's certainly a bother not being able to keep track of my battery power and being unable to fully shut down / suspend / etc.

So, any suggestions as to what I could do besides use acpi=off? I'm rather stumped...
