Acer Ferari 4005 with Linux?
 
Hi i will buy a Acer Ferari 4005 off ebay very soon and i wonder can it run linux? And wich distro should i choose for it?

Help me out, im a newbie!

Any modern distro that supports x86 and/or x86_64 will work. This includes Fedora, Gentoo, Slackware, Ubuntu and a host of others.

A quick look over at http://www.linux-laptop.net/ shows Fedora, Mandriva, Gentoo and Ubantu. Most newbies find any one of these to be nice to start with. Pick any one mentioned and stick with it for a while.
