Acer Extensa 5220 + OpenSUSE 11.1 + Intel 965GM/X3100 = 3D acceleration problem

Hi I have Acer Extensa 5220 Laptop with OpenSUSE 11.1 on it. I've used sax2 to enable 3D and looked tho internet for solution but i've kidna stuck, it says that i have 3D accel but still cedega shows me fail in the test and compiz is starting but there are no effects even if I add them so they should work with kind of event I would like them too, if anyone stomped on this kind of thing and got any ideas what to do I would be greatful.

Hi, since it seems that you do have DRI, to get cedega to work try disabling AIGLX and compositing in your xorg.conf.
I also think I remember reading somewhere that to get DRI you must have a 16-bit depth, so change DefaultDepth accordingly. (this might have been only for the 8xx cards, not sure)
As for compiz, try adding this :
