Acer c720 shutdown issues.
I have a modded version of Seabios that allows me to boot Fedora 22 on what used to be a chromebook. I have used other Linux distros as well. They all have one common problem. I get this random error when I try to restart or shutdown.
ehci-pc: 0000 : 00 : 1d.0 : port 1 or 2 resume error -19 Every distro I have used has had this error! I also have hibernation errors where it freezes, or the screen flashes. I think both have something to do with my graphics card. However I am unsure? How do I fix this? |
I get a lot of hits on your error using google search. Have you tried any of those fixes before posting this thread?

The one you suggested did not work on the bootdown and the hibernation issue.

Do you know of any linux distros that rarely have compatibility problems?

I hear Bohdi Linux Kernel is tweaked for the C720.

You are welcome to try other site links with that error besides the one I posted. Mine Is a C710 so it is a different animal altogether. |
