Acer ASpire one D150 wifi problem
 
Hi,

Just installed the latest greatest version of ubuntu on my netbook Acer Aspire one everything works fine on this except the WIFI

Its not detecting the wifi card on a quick check it looks like its using the following card


Wireless Controller
Acer InviLink 802.11b/g

Can someone please tell me how to fix this.

I boot the computer through my default windows and found further detail on the card.

Atheros AR8121 / AR8113/ AR8114 PCI-E Ethernet controller. < on board ETHERNET.

Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter < WIFI

on running lspci | grep 802

I get this .

01:00.0 Network controller :Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY (rev 01)

I think I have found the solution over here.
