Acer aspire 4540 eth0 problem.....slackware 13

hi....
anybody help me please.....
i'm succes installing slackware 13 in aspire 4540..
but eth0 not working...
i tried remove modules atl1c
i try
#modrobe -r atl1c
and re-insert module
slackware Hang-ing out ....and error
i must force poweroff...with hold button.......
maybe linuxer can resolve my problem...
sorry if my english too bad....
